Dunaway Cuff Bracelet with Crystal Flower
and Box Chain
With a kinetic nightlife, nature park tours and unusual cuisine Darwin, Australia has something for everyone.

Australia is also home to featured jewelry design team Adva Punin and Tal Manning.

When the mood hits me, I like putting on a bold piece of jewelry.  I like how statement pieces can take a casual ensemble like dark denim and a t-shirt to super chic!

Siblings Manning and Punin’s 10-year-old, Australia-based brand Mezi pairs bold and classic outlines with hints of punk and vintage thrown in for good measure.

Of Moroccan and Egyptian ancestry the sisters credit “modern Morocco” and their mother’s luminous glamour and strength with influencing the brand’s vibrant style.  Pooling their skills of graphic design (Punin) and merchandising (Manning) the duo entered the crowed jewelry arena.

Earrings, necklaces and bracelets are built from distressed metals of antique brass, box chains and chunky crystals in mauve, lapis blue and yellow.

Their assortment of designs include the Belize Collar Necklaces highlight contrasting textures of tube-like metal and clustered beads while their Turlington Bracelet showcases dark gunmetal chains and a sprinkling of crystals.

The sisters’ reliance on passion and tenacity has helped to sustain their brand, and they look forward to growing.  “Although jewelry is the last item a woman puts on, it should be the first item to consider,” says Punin.

“Jewelry completes your look.  Tal and I wanted to create bold and beautiful quality jewelry that was wearable.

Mezi is all about accessories that can take you from day to night.  We hope that a Mezi piece reflects a woman’s style and her personal story.”
