SET TO NEUTRAL

Neutral hues in the guise of white and creamy colored pearl strand necklaces and trinkets made with 18-karat rose gold (a carryover from Spring 2011) as well as the muted or achromatic tones of shell earrings get things off to a great start.

Based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada Etsy jewelry shop CindyLouWho2 highlights “natural abalone shell jewelry, and paua shells” as well as “freshwater pearl jewelry.”

Also keeping in step with the neutral trend is the delicate 24K Rose Gold Plated Hoop Earringsfrom Japanese-American jewelry designer Cynthia Sakai’s brand Vita FedeVita Fede is touted as a brand that implements “a modern blend of creative uses of metal with contemporary design aesthetics.”

THE NATURAL CHOICE

Edgy and sexy snakeskin or leopard prints coupled with the delicate semblances of roses and of course leaves, are a sampling of the nature-inspired designs you will see during the Fall season.

New York-based designer Joanna Laura Constantine offers her take on this trend with a sleek Leopard Print Disc Drop Necklace, leopard print bangle bracelets and rings, as well as butterfly necklaces.  Incredible statement pieces round out her fabulous collection of designs that draw inspiration from her Lebanese upbringing.

VINTAGE APPEAL

Last but not least like rose gold vintage-inspired jewelry makes a return this year with pendant necklaces that suspend beautiful cameos, ornate cocktail rings featuring large gemstones or crystals, or bejeweled cuff bracelets that highlight floral motifs.

Based in Indiana the designer for TheLocketBox, Misty, creates a beautiful collection of jewelry inspired by baubles from yesteryear.  “The jewelry you will find in my shop is vintage inspired pieces personally crafted by me in my home just outside of Indianapolis.

I sometimes will use vintage or reclaimed components in my creations.  I love getting my hands on pre-loved pieces I can incorporate into new ones.  My style is simple and classic with a vintage flair.”

Las Vegas-based designer Sisi Amber’s collection of jewelry include takes on ancient keys, crest-medallions, and signet rings.  The former fashion designer incorporates Swarovski Crystals, leather and brass plating in her handmade designs “to create a unique look that is both classy and trendy.”
