Built over 1,300 years ago the temple is believed to be dedicated to Maitreya Buddhism.  Korea is also the ancestral home of featured jewelry designer Easter Ahn.

Located in Chungcheong buk-do, Korea is the Buddhist temple Popchusa. 

Built during the late 7th century, the structure houses a wooden pagoda—the Palsangjeon—which was initially chosen as a set by martial arts legend Bruce Lee for his movie Game of Death.  

Korea is also the birthplace of featured jewelry designer Seohee Koh.

JI HWANG JEWELRY

A visit to Korea’s Mount Sorak, located in the Taebaek Mountain Range, is not for the faint of heart; but is well worth the journey.

A 40-minute walk from the car lot will bring you to the rushing waters of the Biryeong Waterfalls, and a hike up over 800 manmade steps of the Ulsanbawi rock formation exposes visitors to even more spectacular sights. Korea is also the birthplace of featured jewelry designer Ji Hwang.

GENEVIEVE YANG

Erected over 600 years ago, the Jongmyo Shrine located in Korea is one of the oldest Confucian royal shrines in the country.

The shrine still serves as a location for commemorative services of deceased royalty. Korea is also the ancestral home of featured jewelry designer Genevieve Yang.

Today we visit Namsan Park in Seoul, Korea, an expansive natural area that consists of hiking trails, an aquarium, fountain, library, and a cable car. Korea is also the birthplace of featured jewelry designer So Young Park.
