Due to its location, near the salty Lake Urmia, Nir is known for its salt industry while Ardabil has a thriving Persian carpet business.

Today we venture to Washington State taking in the scenic and historical location known as Chinook Point.

A one-time camping place during the 19th century to members of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, Chinook Point presently comprises the Fort Columbia State Park. Washington State is also the birthplace of featured jewelry designer Corey W. Moraes.

We are going to do some globetrotting today visiting the Crathes Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Many say the castle is straight out of a fairytale with its protruding wall supports, painted ceilings, and spectacular Elizabethan fireplace. We leave the regal surroundings of Crathes Castle traveling to Vancouver, Canada.

SIMPLY SUBLIME

Today we're in Vancouver, Canada taking in the natural splendor of Queen Elizabeth Park. I am partial to all things floral, so I'd take a peek inside Bloedel Floral Conservatory with all of its birds, and exotic plants, including bromeliads.

I'd particularly like to have a meet-and-greet with the conservatory's lively Cockatoo named Charlie. Canada is also home to featured jewelry designer Constantina James.
