Considered one of India’s “most magnificent” palaces is the lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Constructed of marble the edifice holds gardens, courtyards and spacious rooms. India is also home to featured jewelry designer Mahavir.
Mahavir’s largely sterling silver jewelry collection is a
superlative example of the marriage of Western tastes mingled with India’s traditional
aesthetic.
Designs are eclectic from prayer boxes (Fervent Prayer Locket Pendant) to the armor-like details of an
oblong cocktail ring (Princess Trio).
At first glance the focal point of his Star Shower Pendant Necklace resembles blown colored glass; but it is actually an inlaid lapis lazuli gemstone.

He effortlessly vacillates between the subtle regality of
the stunning Regal Blue Necklace to
the beautiful engraved and oxidized details of his Love’s Imagination Stacking Rings.
His pairing of rainbow moonstone and blue labradorite with these silver rings is sublime; the gemstones perfectly complement the glistening white metal.
